This costs £80 and includes all necessary x-rays, full mouth cancer screening, periodontal assessment as well as checking the condition of all your teeth and their restorations. When we have fully examined your mouth we will discuss possible treatment options with you and prepare a treatment plan outlining all costs, which will be given to you before we commence your treatment.

Facial Rejuvenation Treatment (Botox)

Facial rejuvenation treatment involves treating some of the muscles of facial expression in such a way that their movement is relaxed. This in turn reduces the appearance of some facial lines, creases and wrinkles. Most people want facial rejuvenation treatment because they do not like the lines, creases and wrinkles that have developed as part of the natural ageing process. They do not want a "frozen" look but would like a fresher appearance.

The three most common areas treated are the frown lines (the area between the eyes and above the nose), forehead lines and the crow's feet at the side of the eyes. To relax the muscles of facial expression a small amount of Botulinum toxin (Botox, Azzalure, Dysport) is injected into the areas to be treated. Results are normally seen after 2 to 14 days and normally last for up to 3 or 4 months.

At the initial Botox consultation your clinician will discuss your requirements and also whether the treatment is suitable for you and explain how it will be performed. An appointment will then be booked for the treatment and also a review appointment for two weeks after the treatment. The review appointment is to check the results of the treatment and to see if any "top up" is required.
